The husband of the latest woman to have an affair with Ryan Giggs has been confirmed as a housemate in this year’s celebrity big brother.
It is the second major signing for the channel five show, currently in its 87th series.
In a classic Big Brother return appearance, the husband will be joined by a chicken that Les Dennis spoke to during his emotionally draining time in the house. The chicken is keen to raise its profile once again after its career in music didn’t work out.
TV bosses are hopeful the chicken will have plenty of dirt to dish after the cameras didn’t pick up every every miserable word uttered by Dennis all those years ago. They are remaining tight lipped about the identity of rest of the housemates although it is believed there will be several lower-profile but highly argumentative housemates who just know it is their destiny to be famous.
Meanwhile the husband is raring to go telling Scoop Alley: “I’m not a loser. That’s why I want to go on Big Brother and show the world who I really am. The public will love me.”
A Big Brother spokesperson said: “There is sure to be plenty of tension in the house which will meet public demand. It’s going to be brilliant telly.”
However, the public denied making any such demand. The public told Scoop Alley: “I am not interested in any of this garbage. It was ok for a couple of years but I stopped watching a decade ago.
“You only get one life and there are far better things to do with your time than watching trash. Please go away as you’re making me miss Benefits Street 2.
“Urrrgh! Bloody scroungers!”
